Deryk Hallal Scholarship

Marine Pfc Deryk L. Hallal was killed in the line of duty, in Ar Ramadi, Iraq on April 6, 2004. His parents, Jeff and Pam, along with the Navy Club of the USS Indianapolis, have established a college scholarship fund for children of veterans currently serving in our armed forces.

Each year, the recipient will participate in the Indianapolis Veterans Day Parade, and will be awarded his/her scholarship at the Field of Valor on the grounds of Crown Hill Cemetery later that day.
